Step 3: Production
Magic Elements Studios works a little differently than your standard video production company. While all of the creative direction, scripting, and project management is typically done in-house, we collaborate with a collective of talented designers, animators, directors, voices, composers, and sound designers from around the world. Depending on what you’re looking for, we’ll assemble a mini team to bring it to life. This setup gives us the flexibility to provide an endless range of styles and continually produce fresh, unique creative work.
Step 4: Music & Sound Effects
It’s the little things that count, and when it comes to video, sound design makes all the difference. We find the perfect song and sound effects to make your explainer video shine.
Step 5: Measure the Performance of Your Explainer Video
Measure video engagement and be ready to tweak the heck out of your video. You’ll be able to see some solid data with YouTube Insight, but Google Analytics can take you even deeper down the rabbit hole, so long as you’re game for setting up nifty custom event tracking.

For starters, get in touch and let us know what you’re looking for. Once we have a good understanding of your goals and objectives, we’ll provide a formal estimate. Assuming you approve, we’ll send across a Video Services Agreement Contract along with an initial invoice for 50% of the project total. We’ll also provide a creative brief and schedule a call for the start off with your dedicated person for the project to review the materials before officially getting started.
How much does a typical video cost?
As usual, it depends. The cost is primarily related to the length, style, and complexity of the video. Most explainer videos run Rs. 135 – 195 K per minute. For live action videos, the price is based on the number of shoot days, talent, and locations required. Typically rates start at Rs. 165K. We occasionally offer deals to awesome startups, but for an accurate estimate, please get in touch and tell us more about your project.
How long does it usually take to finish a project?
It depends on the length and style of the video, but most projects take between 6 and 10 weeks. We often find the biggest variable in the schedule is the time it takes you to provide feedback and the number and complexity of revisions requested. We’ll provide you with a production schedule and key milestones when we kick off the project.
